WATER AND CELL PHONES DON'T MIX!!
If the title don't say it all. Last year at christmas I got my husband and myself both new motorola razors. I love my phone it's pink and it's the best phone I've ever owned, I live in a small town out away from everything and the reception on it is great, no other phone can live up to that. When I got up to go walking Friday morning I stuck it in my pocket like I always do but when I came home and changed for work I forgot to get it. At lunch I had the boys go pick up the laundry and bring it to me and I dumped the basket in to the machine. Yep you guessed it after I got off work I went in to take the clothes out and there on the bottom of the machine layed my beautiful pink phone dead to the world, the only upside was that my sims card still works so I didn't loose all my info. I went to the cingular store the next day to have it replace and they wanted $300.00 for one just like it. They are insane! My insurance won't cover it because it got wet. What good is insurance if it don't cover anything. I paid as much for that insurance as I did for my brand new pink motorola razor off of ebay. The insurance on the new phone is only $9.99 for 3 years and you can get reimbursed at anytime if the insurance doesn't cover something. Most of the time they say it's just cheaper to replace your phone than to fix it. So my new phone should be here in 2 days and I only paid $115.00 for it that was express shipping and all. Pretty good deal compared to Cingular's $300.00. Lesson learned I will never put a cell phone in my pocket ever again. Very expensive lesson.

Oh No! I think the numbers on my phone had got wet. I let Levi use it right after we got out of the pool, and he was soaking wet. For about 2 hours, my down/side buttons and my 2,5,8,0 didn't work at all. Now the numbers work, but my down/side arrows dont work. So I can't scroll through my missed calls or anything.
I called AT&T/Cingular, and I have insurance...but they still want me to pay a $50 deductible to send me a new phone. I haven't done it yet...I was to mad! haha

I am glad you got a new phone. I always wanted one of those pretty pink phones..but mine is really small and I like that.

Aw Man! That STINKS! I cringed when I read that part about you dumping the clothes in the machine! I have been there/done that as far as being without a phone. It's NO fun. I can't believe how much I rely on it! I am glad you were able to get it taken care of without having to spend the $300!

So did you just buy one off of Ebay and then have it activated at your local store?
I may have to look into doing that....after August. We have vacation, mine and Levi's birthday, Granny and Aunt Michelle's birthdays, Levi starting school, etc, etc. But my poor phone is driving me nuts and seems to be getting worse and worse.

THIS STINKS I MEAN IT, IT REALLY STINKS! I don't even know where to start. As most of you know my husband has an 18 year old daughter, her name is Bethany. Bethany came into my life when she was only 5 years old. So as you can imagine as the years has gone we have became not only by marraige but by building a relationship mother and daughter. Bethany turned 18 in January and the fun really began. I hope you can hear the sarcasm in my voice. She had literally turned into this kid that we don't recognize anymore. I'm amazed at the difference. So I finally got a new scale and I have actually lost a total of 17 pounds over the past 6 or 7 weeks. Some have wanted to see the difference and here ya go the top picture was taken in May at Eli's birthday party. The bottom picture was taken 3 days ago at Sea World with the boys. Boy am I glad I lost the weight and started exercising I never would have been able to do what we have done this week without having done that. The river walk, Sea World, The Natural Caverns, & The Wildlife Ranch. It was all really nice I'll post more picture of our adventure later. Love to all. Beverly!
