Week 2
(this should have been posted Monday, but it's just been one of those weeks)

As all of you know I have been dieting and exercising like a mad crazy woman. OK maybe not that bad. I actually just decided that I had to make some major lifestyle changes, to improve my health, my body, and along the way my spirit just jump on for the ride. Anyway today was weigh in day and I have lost 11 pound this week, that was not a typo I did say 11 pounds. I could not believe my eyes when I stepped onto the scales. I actually would get on and off and the on and off just to make sure they were working right. That make 13 pound total so far. I can't believe it, it feels great. I love the way I feel after I've exercised, it's like it empowers you or something. Over the weekend I decided it was time to clean out my storage room and I had found some clothes in there that I had actually put up to take to some of my cousins because I had outgrown them. After 13 pounds of fat gone I can actually wear some of them and the clothes that I usually wear are getting really baggy. I love it, it feels good. Yet it is way to soon to buy anything new, because I have a long way to go. As far as my spirit jumping on for the ride. I try to exercise before the boys get up so it's somewhere around 5:30 in the morning and I have caught some really inspirational speakers on that have really just touched me, and if I don't get to do that I go on walks with my mom and my sister and there isn't anything better than 2 miles worth of girl talk. Well that's all for now.

Yea!!!! WOO-HOOO!!!! Congratulations Beverly! Way to go!!!
I am so happy for you. Doesn't it feel wonderful when you take them time to exercise and take care of yourself? Before you know it, you will have to buy a whole new wardrobe!

That was my encouragement, when I lost so much weight. Stephen said if I kept working out, losing fat, and reached my goal, he would have to take me to buy a whole new wardrobe....because nothing in my closet fit. It was so much fun shopping for "skinny clothes"!!! :) I have kept it off for 8 years now...I can't afford to buy a new wardrobe of "fat clothes", so that is my motivation to keep it off! :) haha Plus it feels to great being health and active, to ever want to go back to my previous self.

Congratulations girl!!!! I am so happy for you and cheering you on. I hope you can hear my joyful whoops all the way up there in Oklahoma!! haha :)

Congratulations Bev!!! 13 pounds in two weeks is huge! Loosing weight is hard to do; however, it is very worth it.
