Life is a Journey!

My how time flys! Jordan and Myself on July 1, 1997 I can't beleive it's been 10 years! My baby boy turned 10 yesterday. I just can't believe how fast time goes by. It was just yesterday when I was carring him within me. That was the most amazing expereince ever. I wanted that baby more than anything in the world. Jordan had a lot of difficulties when he was born. As you can see he is blue in the picture. He was to big to be born naturally but the Dr. was set on not doing a C-section, and I couldn't feel anything from the pain medication and I was only 19 so what did I know. Anyway the Dr. Pulled forever with a vaccum and he was bruised from the chest all the way to the top of his head, along with difficulties breathing. God had my baby in his hands is all I can say. He's a healthy, happy 10 year old now. I just can't believe it. I would like time to slow done, my boys are going up way to fast. Anyway thought I'd share I'll post birthday pictures later....

Week 2 (this should have been posted Monday , but it's just been one of those weeks) As all of you know I have been dieting and exercising like a mad crazy woman. OK maybe not that bad. I actually just decided that I had to make some major lifestyle changes, to improve my health, my body, and along the way my spirit just jump on for the ride. Anyway today was weigh in day and I have lost 11 pound this week, that was not a typo I did say 11 pounds. I could not believe my eyes when I stepped onto the scales. I actually would get on and off and the on and off just to make sure they were working right. That make 13 pound total so far. I can't believe it, it feels great. I love the way I feel after I've exercised, it's like it empowers you or something. Over the weekend I decided it was time to clean out my storage room and I had found some clothes in there that I had actually put up to take to some of my cousins because I had outgrown them. So today is truce day. Or more commonly known as weight in day, I started this diet a week ago today as the scales say I've lost a whopping 2 pounds. Woo Hoo for me. I guess that better than gaining 2 pounds. I don't know I guess when you work as hard as I have this week you just expect it to fall off. But it will continue to come off, slower weight loss is better anyway, so I've been told. I did an 12 min ab lounger work-out yesterday and let me tell it works those muscles. I am sore today, but if it works it will be well worth it. Well I'm off to bed! Night all.

I'm a little behind on this post but anyway. Eli's birthday was May 11th my baby turned 7. We celebrated with a car's party at the rocket park in Durant. We had a nice time even though it tried to rain us out(it does that every year on his birthday). Happy Birthday Baby. Mommy loves you!

We took the boys camping at Lake Raymond Gary this weekend. It was so nice, minus the sunburn and rain. The boys had a blast and they were really good. I had never been up there it is a small lake where Donnie went as a child and it was perfect. It's a really small lake which was nice because I didn't feel like I had to be right on top of the boys all of the time, not that I just let them run all over, but I was very comfortable there. We will definately be going back. Only not when the boy scout are there. They were awful, they actually stole stuff right off of our table at our camp site and you think that those kids are suppose to set a highter standard. Talk about mad my boys were steaming. I just had to explain to them it wasn't right but it wasn't that big of a deal. Eli was ready to lay into them. But all in all we had a really good time. While we were camping this weekend I was standing across from where Donnie and they boys were fishing. I was cooking dinner and I looked up and saw Donnie and Eli sitting like this and I thought it was so cute I just had to have a picture. So I walked really quietly up behind them and snapped it before Eli saw me and moved on to the next thing. He is so busy it's not often you see moments like this and I thought it was priceless.

Look what I found! Eli's little friend from across the street was over playing the other day and told me I needed to come see what Eli was doing (I was cooking dinner). When I got in there I ask him what he was doing and he said I found money. Eli has recently discover a love for money and is saving to buy a new Lightning Mcqueen car that has wings. He's is such a mess! I thought it was so cute I had to grab my camera and get a few pictures.
